Our mission:

Makerspace for Every School in Hong Kong

​

We help schools and community centres in Hong Kong to set up, manage and run their makerspaces by recommending safe, robust and user-friendly equipment with timely local support to maximise effective usage.

​

Training at different levels are offered:

• Train the Trainer Workshops for Instructors

• STEAM and Maker Classes for students with an emphasis on assisting instructors to develop and run future classes

• Equipment Maintenance and Service Training for technical support staff

By partnering with MakerBay, we offer equipment induction classes to those individuals who endeavour to be future Makers.

 

 

About the Founder

 

William Ha received his formal training in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Melbourne, Australia and completed his master’s degree in 1991. He has been working in the field of electronics and communications for over 20 years; including 2 years as Lecturer, Department of Electrical and Communications Engineering, Tsing Yi Technical College.

 

He is currently developing and offering STEAM and Maker Education related classes using various digital fabrication equipment. He has experience with kids from various backgrounds by participating in homework groups and one-on-one tuition sessions for the under-privileged at local non-profit organizations. For leisure, he enjoys playing the piano and the ocarina, sometimes with kids during breaks.
